What time does the race start?
A: 0900hrs (military time) or 9:00 am
What is the course like?
A: The 5K course will be both paved and trail with some inclines
and declines. It is entirely on the grounds of the Police and
Fire Training Academy and is completely closed to traffic.
Is the course certified?
A: No, but measured with GPS.
Is there a shorter "Fun Run"?
A: There is a 1 mile Fun Run for the kids. It's free - it doesn't include a t-shirt but you can buy one for only $10!
Can I walk this 5K or do I have to run?
A: : Either, we encourage both walking and running to show support
towards the Charlotte's Finest Legacy Foundation.
Q: I see there is a RUCK DIVISION this year - what is that all about?
A: Ruck Division. Rucking is a walking/running event with a weighted backpack. Weight of the backpack is dependent upon your body weight. Thin Blue Line Staff will ensure you have the proper weight in your backpack, BUT the staff will not be providing backpacks or weights. The participants must bring their own backpacks and weights.
